One of my friends posted this on Facebook the other day.  There IS hope for today’s youth, but that hope depends on us teaching them right and wrong.

Just had a great moment-while leaving Kroger saw a young man struggling to help a disabled elderly woman get her car started while other people just walked by so I went over to help. Once we realized that her battery was dead, he went to his car, got some jumper cables and together we were able to get her get her car started. While she thanked us she started to cry and told us how she had been out there for a half an hour and tried to give him money. As he walked away he responded by saying no thank you ma’am and that he had to help because if his mama found out that he didn’t help an elder in need she “would kick him in his behind”. Needless to say, I left with a smile on my face. ‪
